What the SC-P9500 actually fixes
Most large format printers produce decent colour most of the time. The problems show up at the edges: after the printer's been idle for a few days, halfway through a long run, or when a client is standing next to you comparing a print to their screen.
Nozzle Verification Technology runs automatically in the background so you're not discovering problems on expensive media. The internal ink buffer means a cartridge change doesn't mean a production stop. And because it's colourimetrically calibrated during assembly, colour consistency isn't something you have to chase — it's built in.

UltraChrome Pro12 Ink System
12 pigment colours including orange, green and violet. 99% PANTONE Formula Guide coverage. Prints are water and scratch resistant within 30 minutes and lightfast for up to 60 years on approved media.

PrecisionCore MicroTFP Printhead
Up to 800 nozzles per colour at 2400x1200dpi. Variable Sized Droplet Technology handles half-tones and colour density without pushing ink consumption up. Noticeably faster than the previous generation.

Sub-Tank Continuous Printing
The internal ink buffer lets you swap cartridges the moment a job finishes. Both black inks print simultaneously, so the old problem of switching between Photo Black and Matte Black is gone.

Nozzle Verification Technology
Automatic nozzle checks and a sealed dust-prevention system run continuously. If there's a problem it gets caught before your media does. Works even after extended idle periods.

Wide Media Handling
Prints on canvas, photo paper, bond, backlit film, synthetic media and more. Roll and sheet from A4 up to 44 inches. Borderless printing available. Media thickness 0.08mm to 1.5mm.

Optional SpectroProofer
Automates colour calibration and proof verification for packaging and contract proofing. Requires third-party RIP software. Takes manual colour checking largely off the table. Available as the SC-P9500 Spectro model.
